Hurricane Katrina: A Monster with a 5 Year-Old Mess

5 years ago today, the dreaded, fearless monster known as Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Louisiana and southern Mississippi and caused around $90.3 billion in total damage making it the most costliest Atlantic hurricane killing 1,836 people.

I woke up at like 7:30 this morning and checked the Weather Channel and it was talking about this. New Orleans has recovered a lot sence. I can’t imagine what viewers over there are doing. Maybe some of this will cheer you up.
